Talking to those who would give it all up in fear of the Big Terrorist I came to the conclusion that I was having as much success explaining about this here Bill of Rights and how it wasn't there anymore... as if I were talking to a cow, chewing it's cud on a sunny day. The more I thought about it, the more it occurred to me just how much like dairy/beef cattle the vast majority of Americans are, right to the point of marching up that plant to the tune of the 22 cal. rifle going off over and over... See, I live in cattle country. My neighbor and I have spoken about the wars and the damage to our Constitution, the torturing of prisoners... and now I hear his kid is joining up, but it's alright because he doesn't expect they will send him into danger. Maybe because he's young and a bit slow. One neighbor's son told me we should nuke the Mideast, all of it. "They're all the same!" says the 20+ year old. They are bred for dumb and muscle and trained on games to see the Other as a target, gleefully done and well rewarded. Maybe not all cattle, some are pit bulls (Blackwater) and some are sheep. They consume and are fleeced and go back to consuming. Some die young.

People around here go to the Dollar Store and get bargains of food, some made in China, some elsewhere, pretty much none from the US. They buy Chinese crayons for their toddler. I truly don't think they can be trained to resist their own destruction. So I suggest to some who still look around and sniff the air, I suggest you go as feral as possible while maintaining a more or less domesticated facade. or lock yourself in and disappear into Second Life.
