In all these statements, the Mainland interrogators seem most interested in names, addresses and pictures. It almost seems like the interrogators were not interested in gathering intelligence on "terrorist" activity. In fact it seems like the intention of the interrogators was to intimidate, i.e. "if you make trouble for us in the West, we have the names and addresses of your family members," or "we can drag you back to China and the Americans will let us." A thought occurred to me. In all these statements, the Mainland interrogators seem most interested in names, addresses and pictures.
