Mr. Worthington,
Sir, thank you for another example of how our previous vice president has NO respect for truth, decency, or honesty at all. He and his "boss", W. Shrub, need to be investigated and charged with war crimes, crimes against humanity, and other various crimes.
As I have told you before, I am a former US Marine, Vietnam veteran, so I do consider myself to be an American patriot of sorts. I detest war having seen first hand what it does to all those caught up in it.
The lies of the previous administration make me ashamed to be an American citizen. The lies and distortions they have tried to pass off as truth are disgusting beyond my capacity to describe. It was a criminal gang who ran America for the last eight years, that is MY own personal opinion. The previous gang did all they could to destroy what semblance of decency existed in America. Their actions have cheapened America, possibly to the point of being irreversible.
So far, I do not see the "new" boss, Obama, doing much to change(a campaign slogan) recent actions of the government of America. The bombing by a drone of a village in Pakistan does not make me feel any "hope" for the future. Also, add the silence by Obama about the recent genocide in Gaza and you begin to understand my disgust with the "new" boss as well.
If this is the "change" that was part of his campaign, well, like the song said, "meet the new boss, same as the old boss". We DID get fooled again.

As much as it pains me to continue to read these accounts, as much self-will as it requires to train my eyes on these horrific images, I feel it is my duty to do so. To be that witness both to what they have endured and what you have recounted. I remind myself, a reading experience, even a painful one, is so different than actually living through these almost unbelievable events. Here's what I have learned so far. There are people out there who will try their utmost to take your joy. They cannot. It's not theirs to take.
