The voices and special knowledge of military warriors--like those of Messrs. Abraham and Aragon--are important, because of the intensity of their engagement and the particularity of their experience. But they should not be privileged above other kinds of warriors, especially consciousness warriors (and heroes), like Andy Worthington.

An outstanding interview. The atmosphere surrounding the evaluation of 'evidence' that LtC Abraham describes is eerily similar to the evaluation of intelligence pertaining to counter-insurgency operations in Iraq.
